Do you accept custom requests?
Absolutely! Whether you have a specific dimensional requirement, need a unique finish, or want to create something uniquely your own, we’re happy to customize our products to fit your vision. Please contact us at info@joshdoresstudio.com to initiate a custom request. We will guide you through the custom design process and prepare a quote for you.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Standard product lead times are listed on each product’s spec sheet and are provided solely as an estimation. Custom products will have their own lead times dependent on the request details. We work hard to ensure timely delivery of our products, and will keep you informed about any unexpected delays.
Rush orders may be accommodated but do require our pre-approval as it depends on the product and availability. Please contact us as quickly as possible to initiate a rush order request so we can do our best to meet your timeline. Approved rush orders incur a 20% rush fee which must be paid in full before we start production. For more information, please see our Terms of Service.
Where do you ship your products?
Via our website, we take orders from customers anywhere within the contiguous United States. Customers from Alaska, Hawaii, or those outside the U.S. won’t be able to check out on our website, but please contact us at info@joshdoresstudio.com and we will prepare a product and shipping quote for you.
Can I save on shipping fees if I am a Denver local?
If you live in or around the Denver area, we'd love to help you save on shipping! Send us your delivery address and the products you're interested in to info@joshdoresstudio.com prior to placing an order. Depending on the location and order details, we may provide you with a one-time discounted shipping code to use at checkout and deliver the product directly without a shipping carrier, so you can save on shipping fees. Will my product look exactly like the product photos?
We strive to provide accurate photography and information for all of our products. Occasionally, there may be differences between the photographic depiction and the physical product. Many of our products utilize materials that may have natural variations in finish or grain, or may oxidize over time. These are inherent characteristics that are considered to be a part of the product’s natural aesthetic.
Are there technical documents for each product?
Yes, all products have a spec sheet link on their product page. Installation instructions will be included with each product shipment. If you have any additional questions about a product, please contact us at info@joshdoresstudio.com.
How do I install or assemble my product?
We include installation instructions with every product shipment. Some items require minimal assembly, while others may need a bit more effort. We strive to design our products in a manner that makes the install process as easy for our customers as possible. To install any of our lighting products, we recommend hiring a licensed electrician to ensure everything is set up safely and correctly.
What stem lengths do you offer for your ceiling lighting products?
Our standard stem length for ceiling lighting products is 35”. Please contact us if a longer stem length is needed and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Certain lighting products may require the stem to be cut to your desired length prior to shipping. Stems cannot be cut shorter than 4”, as installation and wiring would not be feasible.
What is your return policy?
Since each of our products is made-to-order, we are unable to offer returns, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges. For more information, please see our Terms of Service.
What is your warranty policy?
Our products are covered by a limited warranty which guarantees that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. For more information, please see our Terms of Service.
What if my product arrives damaged?
To initiate a damage claim, please notify us at info@joshdoresstudio.com. Damage claims must be reported in writing within 3 days of delivery. In the case of an accepted damage claim, we will work with the customer to repair or replace the damaged product as appropriate to ensure the issue is resolved to the best of our ability.
